The rich rural heritage of the brewery location is mirrored within the Tap Room itself and they have been keen to use locally sourced materials and contractors in its design and build. The bar and tables are made using locally grown and cut yew and oak from Ickworth Estate in Horringer, while much of the tableware has been made by local potter Julia Edwards. Indeed, the whole building project was completed by local contractors. As well as offering their own core range of six Star Wing craft ales on tap, the Tap Room also offers a full bar using more local suppliers, including Finningham-based Betty’s Gin and Harleston cider, based in Palgrave. There is also a fine keg"wall". The opening of the Tap Room also coincides with the hop farm expansion. The hop farm is now 15 times the size with an additional five acres ready for planting.
