Lovely village pub parts of which date from the 15th century. The main bar has a very low ceiling with many exposed beams and is equipped with comfortable sofa seating. A large inglenook fireplace holds a roaring log fire in winter. There is a separate restaurant and food is served Sunday lunchtime and Wednesday to Sunday evenings. Reservation is recommended at the weekend. South Norfolk District Council Community Pub of the Year 2012. Large beer garden, 4 pods with lighting, heating and intercom to the bar, children's play area and a large field with a marquee for events.
